La Unión Europea prestará hasta US$ 39.000 millones a Ucrania para ayudar a reconstruir su economía. Los fondos son parte de la promesa que hizo el G-7 a inicios de año de otorgar un préstamo por US$ 50.000 millones. La presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula von Der Leyen, dijo que el préstamo está respaldado por las ganancias inesperadas de los inmovilizados activos rusos.
